In celebration of today’s Saint Valentin, February 14th, day of all the « in lovers », the first song is Erick Manana’s « Tsy ferana » (from his album “Taniko »), a love hymn traduced from the “Ballade en Novembre” of Anne Vanderlove (in the sixties).
An interview of Jean Jacques Andrianasolo, known as “Solo Hasambarana”, a nick name due to the song which made him well known as one of the first “malagasy crooner”, twenty years ago.
He explains the different steps of his musical career and the both facets of his talent: a great guitar player and a singer.
Solo lives nowadays in Paris and participates frequently in most of the malagasy concerts.
