Randriamaro Zo Vololona is Coordinator of the CRAAD-OI (Centre de Recherches et d’Appui pour les Alternatives de Développement – Océan Indien) which is based in Antaninarivo – Madagascar.
Randriamaro Vololona is a Pan African women's rights militant.
Internationally recognized as an expert in the field of gender and development sociology, she led several programs, international research and advocacy on gender dimensions, macroeconomic, trade and environmental policies , and global governance issues.
Randriamaro Vololona Zo is a Member of the International Advisory Committee of the Barcelona Consensus, social movement for an inter- cultural alternative to the Washington Consensus and the associated international network DAWN ( Development Alternatives with Women for a New Era).
President of the Board of the Pan-African organization promoting human rights and social justice: FAHAMU AFRICA She is expert in integrating human rights and gender issues (gender mainstreaming) in development policies, programs and projects in the budget process.
