L'écoumène V.2: Vohibola (2019) is an order from the Our Natural Park (Luxembourg).
Vohibola is one of the last forests in eastern Madagascar, plagued by deforestation.
Transformed by colonialism and then by the intensive exploitation of wood,
this natural territory is told through the relationships that each weaves with the place
and with the other forms of life that inhabit it.

In this installation, the Algaegraphy is accompanied by a photographic device
which records the disappearance of the landscape and reproduces it in real time in an animated film.
A soundtrack, produced in collaboration with the composer Térence Meunier,
as well as a series of photographic details, immerse us in the atmosphere and the story of Vohibola.
